...what are we gonna do?
I may sound like e broken record, but this was the best episode so far lol
OMG, the flashbacks! It was nice to be reminded how much I hate Mikael! The siblings are monsters, but they were made into monsters, while Mikael was a monster all along. Klaus is being held responsible for something he had no control over, it’s not his fault he is a product of his mother’s affair! Yet the man who raised him wants him dead in order to mend his own sick, twisted, wounded pride. And of course Mikael is not after his “real” children, of course not, as long as they don’t get in his way. *has an urge to hit something* I HATE HIM!
Elijah’s confrontation with Mikael was horrible, this is the same Elijah who feels guilty for not protecting Klaus from their father *sobs* And Klaus, he was terrified in the opera once he sensed who was behind him. And still he called that monster “father” and all he got in return as usual was mockery & hate.
And the final moment when all 3 Original siblings were watching the Opera burning, there was Elijah feeling guilty for not being able to stop Mikael when he had the chance & Klaus who felt guilty because if Mikael wasn’t after him this wasn’t going to happen & of course Bex who was the one who should be apologizing, because she knew it was her fault that Mikael found them, it was so tragic.
In general the flashbacks went as I expected, but one thing came as a surprise and it proved to be so crucial. Klaus actually gave his blessing to Bex & Marcel and this made things even worse, if only they had waited a little longer before going ahead with Bex’s foolish plan…
And of course there’s the current situation. I get why Klaus is so pissed, I do and the appearance of a white oak stake is annoying, I thought there was no more of those, but it makes sense for Klaus to have acquired one at some point in time as a way to get rid of Mikael in case Mikael caught up with them again.
Now he wants to use it on his sister, because he is this far gone at the moment, but he will not go through with it. Not only because Bekah is a main character lol Cami made an excellent point, if he kills his sister it will destroy him. Daggering his siblings is one thing, but killing them for real is not something he can live with. And if he manages to find it in his rotten heart to spare his sister’s life despite having the means to kill her, it will be a great character development.
We’ll see, that’s what I hope for the next episode. Joseph said in a recent interview that the new reveal about Bekah’s betrayal will force the siblings to address their problems and well, they’re all stuck in the cemetery, it’s a good time as any to address their problems lol Not that everything can all be fixed, there are too many skeletons in their closets, but some sort of an agreement must be achieved.
Also the next episode will have flashbacks about the siblings as kids! I’m not ready! I’ve wanted this for so long, but I’m not ready, chances are these flashbacks will hurt a lot.
And yay the witch bitch is dead! *throws confetti*
And yay (maybe, as long as she’s not crazy now) Davina’s back!
And also can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that Elijah casually walked in on his brother & his lover in order to have a lengthy conversation with Klaus? lmao Seriously, Elijah? What about personal space? Oh, that’s right, I forgot, this family doesn’t know the meaning of personal space :D
Okay, I’m done :D (for now lol)
Face appreciation post
There’s a beauty in it and also a danger.
